RedRock announces CU as new UK distributor

RedRock Software, (Milton Keynes, UK) has signed a distribution agreement with leading UK distributor, Computers Unlimited (CU), to distribute RedRock's award winning range of communications and messaging software. The appointment allows RedRock access to CU's top 700 UK resellers, with a proven record in supplying the SME market.

RedRock's latest product, TextNow!, a corporate SMS text messaging solution, addresses the enormous demand for SMS text messaging in the UK. CU were keen to secure a distribution agreement with a leading communications and messaging software vendor. CU have already placed a substantial order on RedRock and anticipate immediate sell through to it's dealer base.

CU's head of marketing, Neil Wright believes the SMS market is currently expanding and businesses now realise SMS is a cost-effective means of communicating with employees, business partners and customers instantly.

"Research shows more than 50 billion SMS text messages were sent to mobile phones in the first three months of 2001 and this is expected to grow even further by the end of the year. Businesses need to be confident messages are secure and accurate, RedRock's TextNow! SMS software can assure that identical messages can be sent to an entire sales force instantly and securely direct to mobile phones," he concluded.
